  • Starting up an Internet small business doesn’t have to be complicated!

This website is a guide which contains small business advice and tips about how to start up an Internet business with very low risk or low cost. It can be as simple getting a pre-built online storefront, or joining an affiliate program, and then advertising it. Some sources of advertising are free.

Attainable. Do-able. Within Reach. These are all phrases that can describe your success with a low risk, low cost business on the Internet.

If you're convinced that owning an Internet website that makes hundreds or thousands of dollars each month, is an out-of-reach goal for you, this website will show you that this is actually a very realistic goal for anyone who is willing to put in the work. Challenging work. You can get free Internet web pages within this hour that are ready-to-sell products and services. Your first Internet ads for your new web pages can be online by the end of the day. You're the driver. Its up to you how hard you want to push the gas pedal.

These are the 7 Steps to a Small Business Website:

    1. Make a Plan 2. Get a domain name 3. Get hosting for your site
    4. Get your site built 5. Get your site ready-to-sell 6. Advertise your site
    7. Get Paid

    My Promise:
THIS WEBSITE DOES NOT ASK FOR YOUR MONEY!
It benefits from commissions by referrals which this site will teach you how to do also. There are scams on the Internet that are out to get your money. You can rest easy, because this is an informational website which doesn't require any form of payments. Throughout this website, I will help you identify reasonably-priced or totally-free services from other companies that you can take advantage of if you choose to.

The general rule on the Internet (with many respected companies) is "If you help us to make money, we'll enable you to make money with us". You can get a free residual income with one such company who has already paid out over 9.6 million dollars to everyday people who may not even have a website.

Fact: Anyone can make a six-figure income from the Internet. After 10 months of setting goals and working at it, I reached $9,000 of sales in one month.

Fact: Most people don't believe that they have the money to start a business. I will show you that money is NOT the key to starting up!

Fact: The Internet today allows the everyday-working-person to start a low risk, low cost business and spend very little to startup.

If you're thinking "This sounds too easy", you're both right and wrong.

Right: This website makes getting the information for how to do it easy.

Wrong: The very hard (not easy) part of starting a business is the mental part, which stops most people from even trying. It may be fighting with you and giving you doubts right now!

The mental part of owning your own business WILL fight with you from the very first week that you begin! If you don't believe me, try it! Or maybe you already have and already know exactly what I'm talking about! Starting a business, and then running it is a challenge, but well worth it if you persevere through the obstacles and the tough times. The great news is that you don't have to go broke doing it.

The Truth: The way that the Internet is today, anyone can generate thousands of dollars each month from websites. This is whether or not you have any prior marketing, Internet, or computer experience. For starters, it takes desire, a willingness to learn, goal-setting, and patience. I'll get into more about what it takes further down on this page...

As you may know, most of the "make money" websites on the Internet, talk about "how rich you will get", "how great everything will be", "how easy it is", etc. That is not this website's goal. I've decided to make this website "the dissenting voice" for anyone who wants to listen. From my own personal experiences, I want to step out on a limb and tell you what I really think it is.

Over the last year, I've tracked tens of thousands of visitors who passed through this website for information. Many people have emailed me with questions or comments. Approximately 1,000 have taken some form of action for making money online through the opportunities listed on this website. Many have decided to go into business for themselves with some of the opportunities I suggest on this website. Of those one thousand people, about 20 have actually "made big waves" and reached a significant level of success with their new Internet business. 20 of 1000 is 2%, if you're counting.

I honestly expected this number to be a lot higher! Maybe my expectations weren't as realistic as they should have been, because I showed a profit relatively quickly (my eighth month). After communicating with this small minority of people over the last few months, I've come to the conclusion that there are a few common characteristics that these people have, that apparently the other thousand didn't have enough of, or are still developing. Desire. Guts. Determination. Heart. Urgency. Consistency. Tenacity. Initiative. "A Willingness to Embrace Slow Results".

I've found that if someone possesses a high level of ONE of the traits I described above, they'll make it, or generate enough momentum to show that they WILL make it in a matter of time. With any real business, there will be obstacles and "bumps in the road". These people won't let any of those stop them. They'll jump over the obstacles and not let the bumps in the road defeat them.

I have nothing against the people that haven't yet made the most of their opportunities. I still support them, like them, and respect them for "at least trying" to get the information and pursue their dream. I've just learned from experience that the old saying is true: "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink".

I'm being honest about this because I think people should hear it from somebody. If you want to be successful in your own business, you have to be at least a little bit tougher than the average person. The money isn't the biggest issue. I'll re-list my 7 Steps to a Small Business Website, but this time with dollar requirements:

  • 1. Make a Plan - Free. It's free to make up a plan for how to win.

  • 2. Get a domain name - $9.95 to $12.95

  • 3. Get hosting for your site - $7.95 a month or higher

  • 4. Get your site built - Free - with templates, or $19.98 or higher

  • 5. Get your site ready-to-sell - Free with PayPal or Ibill, other solutions cost more

  • 6. Advertise your site - I recommend at least a $50 pay-per-click investment, but there are free options too. Getting your website optimized for good search engine results is mostly free.

  • 7. Get Paid - Its free to monitor your progress

As you can see, the money requirements for the steps above are not expensive. To top that off, affiliate programs that can "give you something to sell" are free-to-join. Some of these opportunities will also eliminate some of the steps above that are normally required (some affiliate companies will give you pre-built web pages that are ready-to-sell, so no hosting, design, or e-commerce solutions are necessary). This means that for a very low cost, with low risk, you can have an Internet mall, or an online casino, or a telecommunications storefront, or whatever direction you decide to go in. That is totally up to you. The advertising and marketing tips section on this website explains how you can get the best traffic available for your opportunity, without wasting your money on the many advertising traps and pitfalls that are pushed relentlessly on the Internet. I've also proved that it does NOT take thousands of dollars to get good search engine results through optimization. The Get Paid section on this website explains how you keep your advertising costs manageable and how to measure your profits.

As I've said before, the toughest part of starting a small business, in my honest opinion, is the mental part.

  • The part that may be trying to convince you that "you can't" right now. If you invest 20 dollars and make 30 dollars, guess what? You're successful!
  • Or the part that says "What 'original' idea can I come up with", when in reality, what really sells on the Internet is totally "unoriginal"!
  • Or the part that wants "immediate success" or "instant gratification" in the next few weeks. When you're prepared to embrace small but measured results, and build momentum over time, without letting the bumps in the road derail you, you'll be on your way to greater things.

If you read through this website, you'll realize that there's no reason that you can't be in business for yourself at a low cost, with a low risk. You'll realize that YOU CAN.

These are some questions that will determine how far you will go:

  • How bad do you want it?
  • Are you willing to learn something "new" that an Internet business would require?
  • If it calls for a small investment, will you make the sacrifice?
  • Are you prepared to think about your business every day during the first hour that you wake up?

Desire. Guts. Determination. Heart. Urgency. Consistency. Tenacity. Initiative. "A Willingness to Embrace Slow Results". If you feel that you have ONE of these qualities or more, there is no reason that you can't get a website and begin building a future for yourself.

    My Suggestion:

Bookmark this site for the future, browse through it, and then later today just sit and visualize how your life could change if you learned how to draw a second income from the internet, which could eventually replace your job! This may only be months away! Afterwards, return to this site on a regular basis as it is being constantly updated and use it as a guide to build a future. This site is also very print-friendly and its pages can be used for reference.

I counseled a teacher about Internet Marketing and here is what he has to say about it:

My name is T.L. Edwards and I am a teacher in Dallas, Texas. After consulting with Tony and getting involved with Internet marketing, I am averaging over 3 sales per day or $120USD in my spare time. Multiply that by 30 days and you start to get the picture! This took me less than 3 months to accomplish. You get out of this effort what you desire to put in. Sales and success do not come overnight. You must be diligent in establishing your own business and at the same time, be patient. If you truly wish to start earning extra money, then stick with it! Three or four sales a day may not seem like a lot now, but I am in the beginning stages of this venture and I anticipate becoming even more successful over time.

Desire is the Key: All the job experience and college degrees in the world don't matter if you don't have desire. If you do have desire, you can turn a $10 a week income into $50, then $100, then $500, then $1,000, and keep going until you've reached the income that you've always dreamed of.

What this site does: This site breaks down the key steps in starting an Internet business. Since the whole focus of this site is lowering your risk and investment, showing your first profits may not be that far down the road. Not only that, it should be fun! Being in business for myself is the most rewarding, exciting thing I've ever done and it should be for you too!

This site is for: Anyone who seeks information. It is geared towards working people without a large amount of capital to invest. If you do have a large amount of capital, that's great, but this site will speak from the standpoint that you don't. This is necessary to maintain this site's overall theme.

This is not a get-rich-quick site with a magic formula for success. This site is more like a road map. You can use it to help you get to where you want, but it doesn't have wheels and it doesn't pay for gas.
